How I Finally Started Speaking Spanish

I had tried to learn Spanish several times before without getting very far. Eventually I changed how I practiced and focused much more on actually using the language. I can share my personal routine, the methods I abandoned, how I dealt with embarrassment when speaking, and the point at which Spanish stopped feeling like a collection of vocabulary lists.
