Frequently Asked Questions

What is iBrenta?

iBrenta is a marketplace where people can share and offer their personal experience, knowledge, skills and practical advice.

The platform is designed around real experience: something a person has actually done, learned or experienced and can explain to someone who needs practical information.

What can I find on iBrenta?

You can search for people with experience in a wide range of subjects.

Examples include:

  • computers and software;
  • smartphones and data recovery;
  • cars and vehicle maintenance;
  • home repair and household problems;
  • appliances;
  • gardening;
  • business and freelancing;
  • work and professional experience;
  • languages;
  • IT and technology;
  • marketing;
  • travel;
  • relocation;
  • practical everyday problems.

The available subjects depend on the experience cards published by users.

How do I search for an experience?

Enter what you are looking for in the search field.

Try to describe the actual problem, task or experience you need rather than using only a broad category.

For example, instead of searching only for "computer", you could search for "recover deleted files from Windows" or "replace laptop battery".

What is an experience card?

An experience card is a publication describing a particular experience, knowledge or skill that a user is willing to share with another person.

A card can contain a description of what the author has done, what they learned and what practical information they can provide.

Who can create an experience card?

A registered iBrenta user can create experience cards, subject to the marketplace rules and applicable restrictions.

Each user can have up to 10 experience cards.

Can I create several cards?

Yes.

Different cards should represent different and clearly defined experiences.

Duplicate cards or multiple cards created only to manipulate search visibility are not allowed.

Is iBrenta a marketplace for professional experts?

Not necessarily.

The main purpose of iBrenta is to connect people with real personal experience.

A person does not need to present themselves as a certified professional simply because they have practical experience with a particular subject.

Users should not present personal experience as a professional diagnosis, official opinion, guaranteed result or regulated professional service.

Can I offer professional services?

An experience card should accurately describe what you personally know or have done.

Do not use an experience card to make unsupported professional claims or to present personal experience as an official medical, legal, financial, technical or other regulated professional opinion.

Where a qualified professional is required, users should seek appropriate professional advice.

How much does it cost to use iBrenta?

The price of an experience is determined by the person who publishes the card.

Depending on the card, the author may specify a price per minute, per hour, per session, a fixed price or another available pricing option.

The platform itself does not determine the value of a person's experience.

Does iBrenta process payments between users?

iBrenta is primarily a marketplace for finding and connecting people.

If users arrange payment directly between themselves outside the platform, they are responsible for the terms and security of that transaction.

Never share passwords, authentication codes or payment credentials with another user.

How do I contact the author of an experience?

Open the relevant experience card and use the available contact function.

Some interaction features require registration.

The exact information exchanged between users depends on the functionality available on the platform and what the users choose to provide.

Do I need an account to contact someone?

Registration may be required before using contact and other interaction features.

This allows iBrenta to associate marketplace interactions with an account and apply appropriate protections against abuse.

Can I publish comments?

Where comments are available, registered users can participate in discussions subject to the applicable rules.

Comments must remain relevant and respectful.

Spam, harassment, prohibited content, personal information belonging to other people and attempts to manipulate ratings or interactions are not allowed.

Can I edit my experience card?

Yes.

Authors can manage their own experience cards through their account and edit the information they have published.

Keep the information accurate and up to date.

Can I publish an experience anonymously?

An experience card is associated with the account that created it.

The information displayed publicly depends on the current iBrenta interface and the information the author chooses to make available.

Do not publish personal or confidential information that you do not want other users to see.

Why was my content removed?

Content may be removed, hidden or restricted if it violates the Rules of Posting, Trust & Safety requirements or other applicable rules.

Examples include prohibited activity, fraud, spam, duplicate content, harassment, malicious links and attempts to manipulate the marketplace.

How do I report a problem?

If you find prohibited content, suspicious activity, fraud, harassment or another violation, use the Report Abuse page.

Provide the URL or other information that allows the issue to be identified and explain what you believe is wrong.

Is information on iBrenta guaranteed to be accurate?

No.

Experience cards represent information provided by individual users.

Personal experience may be incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for another person's circumstances.

Users should evaluate information independently and obtain qualified professional advice when the subject requires it.

Is iBrenta responsible for the result of advice I receive?

Users are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on information received from another user.

iBrenta does not guarantee that a particular recommendation, method or experience will produce a particular result.

For medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other regulated matters, consult an appropriately qualified professional.

How should I protect myself when communicating with another user?

Do not send another user:

  • passwords;
  • authentication or verification codes;
  • payment-card credentials;
  • banking login information;
  • private documents that are not necessary;
  • other sensitive information that the person does not need.

Be cautious if someone creates urgency, guarantees an unusual result, asks for sensitive information or proposes an unusual payment arrangement.

What should I do if someone behaves suspiciously?

Stop the interaction if necessary and do not provide sensitive information.

Save the relevant page or other identifying information and report the activity through Report Abuse.

If you believe there is an immediate threat to someone's safety, contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement authority.

How does iBrenta handle personal information?

iBrenta processes personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not publish passwords, payment credentials, authentication codes or another person's private information in an experience card or comment.
