How I traveled for three months on a small budget

I spent three months traveling while keeping my costs under control. I can share how I chose destinations, found affordable accommodation, planned transportation and avoided some of the expensive mistakes I made at the beginning.

Traveling for a few weeks feels very different from living out of a suitcase for several months. I had to think about laundry, work, internet access, food costs and the simple question of where I would be the following week. Moving too often also turned out to be more expensive and exhausting than I expected.

I can explain how I built a realistic daily budget, compared accommodation options, decided when to stay longer and dealt with unexpected expenses. I can also share which parts of my original travel plan I abandoned once I was actually on the road.
