What I Learned from Camping with Children

I started taking my children camping after assuming that the hardest part would simply be keeping everyone comfortable outdoors. In practice, preparation, food, sleeping arrangements, weather and keeping children occupied all mattered. I can share how our trips evolved, which equipment became genuinely useful and which things we packed but almost never needed.
