What Living with a Rescue Dog Taught Me

I adopted a rescue dog expecting the adjustment period to be challenging, but some parts were very different from what I imagined. I can share my experience of the first weeks, building routines, dealing with fear and unfamiliar behavior, changing my home environment and learning how much patience everyday life with a rescue animal can require.
